Listen. Sometimes I have sad thoughts, and I see no reason not to inflict those sad thoughts on the maximum number of people possible. Also I have a thing were I am constitutionally incapable of looking at a popular headcanon and going "what if every single one of you was wrong". In my defense, just like you said, Cody just isn't there on screen a lot, and when he is he's very professional. If we're going purely by what we the audience see, it's actually far more reasonable to assume that Cody doesn't care for Obi-wan!
I've never thought of Cody and Rex not liking each other, and now that you've introduced me to the concept, I will attempt to never think of it again because it hurts me.
