i would add also that although balefire isn't proscribed in the way that using the dark side to throw sith lightning is, the damage and reluctance to use it by the 'good guys' (at least at first) makes a nice link. i think in the old star wars eu there was even a 'light' equivalent to sith lightning, but that is cached even further back in the memory banks lol
